  1. Is Pinot Noir made with a red grape? I am having a disagreement with a colleague reagarding this. They said that Piot Noir was actually made with a white grape. Please help settle this, because I love pinot noir and am drinking 4 ozs daily for heart health. Does it actually have the benefits of resveratrol?

    Thanks, appreciate your help.

  2. Michael.
Indeed, Pinot Noir is made from a Red Grape. There are “white” Pinots, which are the same grape, but the skins are removed during the wine making. The pulp is white, but the color of the wine comes from the skins.

This is similar to a Red Zinfandel (red grape) and White Zinfandel (same grape, but with less time on the skins)

As far as Resveratrol and Red WIne grapes:
    - The highest concentrations are in Pinot Noir, and “Heavy” reds like Cabernet Sauvignon, Bordeax, Muscadine, etc.
    - 4 oz is good for you
    - 8 oz is better
    - 24 oz will get you very drunk
    - 100 bottles will Kill you, unless it’s from Vindure 900 :-)
    - That’s Vindure 900, the resveratrol-equivalent of over 100 bottles of red wine, without the alcohol or calories.
    - So take your daily Vindure 900 with a glass of Pinot Noir …

  3. Question from a customer:

Just curious: A claim I saw regarding “melt in your mouth” resveratrol from one of the supposed leading Resveratrol companies, reads:

“each 150 mg tablet delivers the equivalent of 1500 glasses of red wine — the high-dose therapeutic level recommended by top Resveratrol ”

I’m confused as to why a company would claim a 1500 bottle of wine equivalent with a 150mg tablet, and Vindure 900’s 400mg dose talks of a 100 bottle of wine equivalent. Am I reading this correctly?

    Thanks,
    Jim M.

  4. Unfortunately, there are many companies claiming that their Resveratrol is the equivalent of X bottles or Y glasses of wine.

Here’s the truth. First a bottle of wine = 5-6 glasses

Red wine has the equivalent of 0.5 – 4 mg of Resveratrol.

Vinomis used the most conservative calculation in its claim of 100 bottles of Red Wine, since we have 428 mg of Resveratrol which would be 107 bottles of the most “resveratrol-potent” wine.

  5. Why do you not mention the fact that pertinent clinical trials were based on sub-dermal injection of resveratrol? In other words ingestion of your pill simply will not provide a therapeutic dose as it will be eliminated before it ever hits your blood stream.

  6. Hi,

I am interested in enhancing my skin and hair and anti-aging skin care supplements.
Can you suggest me what supplement do you recommend is best for me.

    Thanks.

    Sharmin

  7. I do not agree with your supposition. In the clinical trial at Marywood University with Resveratrol and Red wine grape extracts, they were given ORALLY, similar to Vindure 900. Subsequent studies by Vinomis were given Orally.
