Error Theories

The basic belief of error theories is that over time, cells simply begin to function poorly and “wear out.” Cells continually reproduce within our bodies. With the exception of cells in certain organs (brain, heart, etc.) our bodies basically replace our cells continually.

During their replication, the “copying process” simply makes mistakes or errors in our DNA over our lifetimes. Cancer cells are an example of such mistakes in reproduction.
