Red Wine equivalents

Vindure 900 has the Resveratrol-equivalent of 100 bottles of Red Wine. Other products also make claims about bottles or glasses of wine, red wine, etc. Here’s the truth about this:

The average bottle of Red Wine has approximately 0.5 – 4.0 mg of Resveratrol (1-5%). It depends on the type of red wine. Muscadene, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Bordeaux (which largely contains Cabernet), have the highest values. But it depends upon location, soil conditions, sunlight, climate, etc. White while also contains Resveratrol, but in smaller dosages (0.1 – 2 mg) than red wine.

Vinomis Laboratories uses the most conservative number of 4.0 mg. One (1) Vindure 900 tablet contains 428 mg of Resveratrol, or the equivalent of 107 bottles of Red Wine. By the way, there are approximately 5-6 glasses of wine in a bottle, so we could also legitimately claim 500 – 650 glasses of wine.

So … the safest number to use is 1 bottle of Red Wine = 4.0 mg of Resveratrol = 5 -6 glasses of wine
or
100 mg of pure trans-Resveratrol = 25 bottles of wine = 125 – 150 glasses of red wine.

The problem is that other products can use the lower number (0.5 mg) and make huge claims. Our goal at Vinomis Laboratories to be honest with our customers.
