Sources of Resveratrol

Natural Dietary Sources of Resveratrol

People get most of their daily dosages of resveratrol from grapes, wines, and juices, albeit in low quantities. Next in line is dark chocolate, followed by several berries & fruits, and nuts. Japanese Knot Weed (polygonum cupidatum) is used to get very high concentrations of resveratrol for nutraceutical supplements like Vinomis’ Vindure 900. These super-high concentrations are not possible from wine, grapes or grape juice, although those do add key polyphenols which interact with resveratrol and have strong antioxidant properties.
