Memory Enhancement
It’s no surprise that as we age, in addition to losing strength, endurance and muscle elasticity, so to we experience a gradual decline in memory, and the ability to process information. Many people over the age of 50 experience mild cognitive impairment, slower thinking and associated memory changes.
When researchers tested memory in mice (via mazes and other mechanisms) and fish (via certain negative stimuli) that have been given Resveratrol and polyphenols, they found that the age-relateddecline in cognitive ability had been stopped.

In 2006, Dr. James Smoliga performed the first study with a combination of Resveratrol, Quercetin and a concentrated red-wine grape extract using the ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) developed by Dr. Joseph Maroon and Dr. Mark Lovell. The study is used by the National Football League (NFL), the National Hockey League (NHL), NASCAR, and now the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) to, among other things, determine cognitive post-concussion ability.
Dr. Smoliga’s study found an improvement in visual and verbal memory, and in reaction time in normal, healthy, sedentary individuals.
